Turks & Caicos

Parrot Cay Resort and Spa, one of the world’s most exclusive resorts, is a favorite hangout of the rich and famous for its luxury and privacy (Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck were married there). On its own private thousand-acre island, it sounds almost inaccessible for most of us, but with packages, promotions, and special Honeymoon rates, it’s definitely possible to enjoy extreme luxury on a modest budget.

The islands of Turks & Caicos are full of surprises like that. Eight inhabited islands and 300 smaller islands make up T&C. Providenciales is the center of the tourist industry, with a range of hotel options and activities. Grand Turk and Salt Cay offer glimpses into Caribbean history and local life, whereas Middle and North Caicos are lush and tropical, with a huge network of caves (pirate treasure anyone?). Fishing, snorkeling and diving bring many visitors, since the islands are on one of the longest coral reefs in the world.

But what makes us most excited about Turks & Caicos is the number of new resort properties being built. Because new resorts mean introductory rates, which means destination wedding and honeymoon couples get incredible deals on brand new, top notch properties. News about openings reach travel agents first, so call us today to find out about the latest, greatest deal on the islands.

Getting married on Turks & Caicos is very easy. You just need your passport, birth certificate, proof of single status, and a letter stating your occupations, marital status, ages, addresses, and full names of your fathers. However – processing of the marriage license takes from 2-3 days, so plan to be on the islands at least three days in advance of your wedding ceremony. As a British Overseas Territory, the official language is English, so there is no need to translate marriage documents if you’re coming from the US or Canada (or anywhere else with English as the official language).
